Sunny skies dominate Tuesday with a high near 84 degrees. Winds are calm this morning, shifting to a light southwest breeze around 5 mph in the afternoon. Overnight lows will fall to about 65.
Wednesday is expected to be the hottest day of the week, with highs near 93 degrees. Forecasters said sunshine and weak offshore flow will drive the increase. Wednesday night will remain mild, with lows around 66.
Thursday will stay warm, with highs near 91 degrees and light south-southwest winds. Conditions will remain sunny and dry, though temperatures will ease slightly compared to Wednesday’s peak.
Forecasters said Pasadena will see a steady warming trend through midweek, followed by gradual cooling into the weekend. Highs will hover near 90 Friday and Saturday before dropping to the low 80s Sunday and Monday. Overnight lows will stay in the mid-60s.
No measurable rain is expected this week. The marine layer will shrink, keeping low clouds and fog confined to coastal areas rather than inland valleys.
Winds will remain light throughout the week, generally calm in the mornings and shifting to weak southwest breezes in the afternoons. Offshore flow Tuesday and Wednesday will help clear skies earlier in the day.
For the weekend, Pasadena will see sunny skies with highs near 89 Saturday, cooling to about 83 Sunday. Monday will remain sunny with highs near 83, signaling a return to more seasonable conditions.
Forecasters said Wednesday’s heat could exceed expectations by several degrees, raising the possibility of heat alerts if conditions intensify. Residents are advised to stay hydrated and limit outdoor activity during peak heat hours.
Looking ahead, mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures are expected into early next week, with highs in the low 80s and overnight lows in the low 60s.
