Pasadena Jewish Temple & Center: Islamic Art Collection of Los Angeles County Museum of Art

Published on Friday, March 23, 2012 | 9:02 pm

Please join the church at the Interfaith Study Group—composed of members of PJTC, All Saints Episcopal Church, Pasadena, and The Islamic Center, Los Angeles—who meet monthly for friendly discussion on topics or readings of common interest, at each of the three locations, in turn.

The next event on Sunday, April 15, is a field trip. Interfaith Study Group friends will visit the Islamic Art Collection of Los Angeles County Museum of Art, 5905 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles. Meet there, or meet to carpool in the north lot of All Saints Church by 1:45 PM and then gather at the Middle Eastern Art Collection gallery at 3:00 PM promptly. Please allow time to park and to pay admission or show your membership card if you have one.

General admission is $15 regular or $10 for students and seniors. Those who would like to have the special $12 fee for groups of 10 or more should meet at the ticket office by 2:45 PM. Our guide will be Nisreen Malhis, a longtime friend of the Interfaith Study Group who has studied this collection and visited it many times.

Please contact Cecilia Fox or the Temple Office at (626) 798-1161 if you have any questions. You may also contact Amanda McCormick at All Saints Episcopal Church by email at amccormick@allsaints-pas.org or by telephone at (626) 583-2765.
