
The Pasadena Kiwanis Club is organizing a Public Safety Fair on Saturday, Aug. 31st and is inviting families to engage with local emergency services and community organizations.
The free event, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Salvation Army Campus in Pasadena, will feature demonstrations by the city’s Fire Department and Police Department.
“We’d love to see many of you there,” said Chris Kolbeck, President of the Pasadena Kiwanis Club.
The fair aims to combine education with entertainment for attendees of all ages. Organizers will distribute free bike safety helmets and protective gear to children, underscoring the event’s focus on youth safety and community involvement.
The Salvation Army Campus, located at 960 East Walnut Street, will host various booths and activities run by local family organizations, offering a comprehensive community experience.
Attendees can expect to see fire engines and ambulances up close, with emergency personnel providing safety education and demonstrations throughout the day.
The event will also feature food and drinks provided for all participants, as well as a door prize, adding to the family-friendly atmosphere.
Other Pasadena service groups will be present, showcasing the collaborative effort to promote safety and community engagement in the area.
