Pasadena’ Law Firm’s Annual Fundraiser to Benefit Disability Services

A Pasadena law firm will hold its fifth annual charity golf tournament in November to raise money for a local nonprofit serving people with disabilities.

Lagerlof, LLP will host the fundraising event Nov. 14 at Brookside Golf Club. The tournament benefits Villa Esperanza Services, which provides programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The event offers two activities for participants. Golfers can play an 18-hole tournament that includes food, games and prizes. A hole-in-one challenge offers a chance to win a Rivian vehicle.

Those who prefer not to golf can attend a two-hour wine tasting. A licensed sommelier from Arguax Wines will lead the tasting. Participants receive lawn games and a bottle of wine.

All attendees will join together for cocktails and dinner after the day’s activities.

“Each year, the Lagerlof Cares Tournament brings our community together to support an organization doing life-changing work right here in Pasadena, and we are excited this year to support Villa Esperanza Services,” said Joshua Driskell, managing partner at Lagerlof, LLP. “It’s an unforgettable day of golf, wine, and giving back.”

The fundraiser is organized by Lagerlof Cares, the law firm’s charitable arm. The group focuses on community service through donations, volunteer work and partnerships.

Villa Esperanza Services has operated in Pasadena for more than 60 years. The organization serves children, adults and seniors with developmental disabilities through various programs.
