Connect 2 Rise Inc., a Pasadena-based nonprofit organization, will host its inaugural Women’s History Month Tea & Talk Soirée on Sunday, March 30, from 3 to 6 p.m. at 2594 East Colorado Boulevard.
The event, themed “Moving Forward Together! Women Educating & Inspiring Generations,” aims to bring together women from diverse backgrounds for an afternoon of conversation and celebration.
The organization describes the gathering as creating “space to slow down, share stories, and build relationships that matter.” Attendees can expect an afternoon featuring tea service, sandwiches, desserts, a bouquet bar, speaking sessions, and what organizers call “soul-stirring conversations” with women sharing personal stories.
Proceeds will directly benefit Eaton Fire women entrepreneurs and families in the community who are rebuilding their lives and livelihoods after devastating circumstances.
Organizers suggest “garden party elegance, spring colors, or afternoon tea finery” as optional attire for the event. Complimentary fascinators will be available, though guests are welcome to wear their own tea hats, according to the event description.
Connect 2 Rise identifies itself as a nonprofit in Pasadena dedicated to combating loneliness through peer support groups, social events, and community initiatives.
Tickets for the Women’s History Month celebration range from $40 for early bird purchases available until March 10, to $50 for general admission. The organization also offers a “Bring-a-Friend Package” for $90, representing a $10 discount from purchasing individual tickets.
