The one-day course runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena and is limited to 30 participants. Lunch will be provided. Attendees must bring their own motorcycle, Department of Transportation-approved helmet, gloves, boots, eye protection, proper riding attire, and a valid Class C driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement.
The course is open to all motorcycle riders, regardless of experience level. Spend the day with Pasadena Police Department Motor Officers at the Rose Bowl Stadium and gain valuable skills and confidence on your bike.
Participants will receive instruction in basic riding skills, low-speed maneuvering, braking, U-turns, counter steering, cone patterns, and how to identify and respond to common hazards faced by motorcycle riders.
“Motorcycle safety saves lives,” said Chief of Police Eugene Harris. “Even the most experienced riders benefit from refreshing their skills, learning defensive techniques, and understanding how to respond to unexpected road conditions.”
The program is designed to build rider confidence and promote safer roadways for all. For more information, contact Officer Zachary Sprague at zsprague@cityofpasadena.net.
