National Weather Service forecasters cautioned Pasadenans to be ready for a scorcher on Friday, with the mercury hitting triple digits and only letting up slightly on Saturday.
The NWS issued a 2-day heat advisory and told people to avoid exercise and stay hydrated to avoid heat-related illnesses.
The heat advisory is in effect until 7:00 p.m. Saturday.
Forecaster said temperatures will cool a bit over the weekend and there will be additional cooling into early next week
