The City of Pasadena announced plans to resume most municipal counter services on Monday, January 13 marking a step toward recovery after severe winds and wildfires disrupted operations last week.

Several critical departments, including the Pasadena Public Library, Pasadena Public Health, Housing, and portions of Water & Power, will remain temporarily closed while officials complete safety assessments of affected buildings.

“We are committed to serving our residents and helping them during this challenging time,” said City Manager Miguel Márquez, emphasizing the restoration of essential services.

City officials directed residents seeking library updates to visit CityOfPasadena.net/Library/, with further announcements pending about the reopening timeline for other affected facilities.

The municipal government pledged to release additional information about the restoration of Public Health, Housing, and remaining Water & Power services as conditions permit.

As part of the City’s active emergency response, residents requiring assistance can reach the Citizen Service Center at (626) 744-7311 during regular business hours Monday through Friday.

Officials encouraged community members to stay informed through Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, or by visiting the City’s website for the latest updates on available resources.
