The National Weather Service Los Angeles/Oxnard office reported Friday that cooler conditions will prevail during the day, with highs near 71 degrees and light winds. Clear skies are expected overnight with lows around 47 degrees.
Temperatures will rise Saturday to 76 degrees under sunny skies, followed by Sunday’s peak near 81 degrees. Winds will remain light, shifting from east to west during the afternoons.
Forecasters said onshore flow will return Monday, bringing cooler air. Highs will drop to the mid-60s Tuesday and Wednesday as showers move into the region.
Rainfall totals are expected to range between 0.25 and 0.50 inch, though amounts could vary. The National Weather Service noted higher totals are possible along south-facing mountain slopes.
No watches or warnings are in effect for Pasadena. Forecasters said isolated showers may develop over nearby mountains Friday evening, but impacts to the city are expected to be minimal.
Looking ahead, temperatures will rebound slightly Thursday with highs near 69 degrees. Another pair of storm systems is projected to approach Southern California next weekend, with the second system around Feb. 14–15 possibly bringing heavier rain and cooler air.
