The event aims to energize students and families for the upcoming school year, bringing together local officials, businesses, and community members to show their support. It exemplifies the district’s commitment to fostering strong community ties.
Other events will be held at schools across the District.
Police have cautioned local drivers to use extra caution around school campuses today as youngsters make their way back to classrooms.
As students return, PUSD officials remind families about the district’s cell phone policy. While not prohibited on campus, cell phone use is restricted during school hours, as outlined in Board Policy 5131.8 on Mobile Communication Devices.
The district, which serves pre-K through 12th grade and adult education students, covers a 76-square-mile area.
