The town hall is open to PUSD middle and high school students, parents, and caregivers. The goal is to foster an important conversation about substance use, fentanyl, Naloxone/Narcan, and how to keep the community safe.
The panel discussion will feature physicians and medical experts from Huntington Health and Exer Urgent Care.
The meeting will be held in a hybrid format. Attendees can join in person at the PUSD Board Room located at 351 S. Hudson Ave., Room 236, Pasadena, CA 91109 or online via Webex.

In related news, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently launched four complementary education campaigns intended to reach young adults ages 18—34 years. The campaigns provide information about the prevalence and dangers of fentanyl, the risks and consequences of mixing drugs, the life-saving power of naloxone, and the importance of reducing stigma around drug use to support treatment and recovery.
