In a continued effort to support aging-in-place adults, Pasadena Village will host a free fall prevention event as part of their Village Connections series on Thursday, March 20.

The 90-minute event, titled “Village Connections: Tips to Reduce Trips (Fall Prevention),” will take place at the Washington Park Community House from 2 to 3:30 p.m., according to the Pasadena Village announcement.

Judy Packard will lead the presentation aimed at helping attendees learn the ins and outs of fall prevention to maintain their independence at home.

“Stay independent. Many falls can be prevented. By making some changes, you can lower your chances of falling!” the announcement said.

The event will begin with a social period featuring complimentary coffee and tea from 2 to 2:15 p.m., followed by a presentation or discussion led and moderated by fellow adults 50+.

Pasadena Village, a nonprofit supporting aging-in-place older adults, regularly organizes educational events for adults aged 50 and above.

This particular Village Connections event is sponsored by Clifford Swan Investment Counselors and organized by Village member Suzi Hoge.

The Washington Park Community House is located at 700 E Washington Blvd. in Pasadena, and the event is open to all interested individuals.
