Pasadena Water and Power has launched a partnership with TreePeople to offer residents a $60 rebate on Fall Native Garden Kits, reducing the standard $120 price by half. The collaboration aims to make native landscape transformation more accessible and affordable for PWP customers.

PWP customers are eligible to purchase one discounted kit while supplies last, with the program limited to first-time participants only. Additional kits may be purchased at the full retail value of $120. To receive the rebate code, customers must visit TreePeople.org/Native-Garden-Kit and complete a survey, after which they will receive email instructions within two business days to place their order.

The Fall Native Garden Kits are available for purchase from July 7 through August 31, creating a limited summer enrollment window for fall planting. Each kit contains 10 one-gallon native plants pre-designed for a 100 square-foot garden space. The packages include a “plant-by-number” site map and a native-plant installation guide with educational materials to help homeowners successfully establish their gardens.

TreePeople offers six themed kit options: Sunshine Superbloom, Splendid Silhouettes, Pollinator’s Paradise, Year-round Radiance, Shaded Symphony, and Firewise Friendly.

The partnership announcement comes as David Reyes serves as the permanent General Manager of Pasadena Water and Power, having been appointed to the role effective May 5.
