Pasadena residents will see cooler, cloudy conditions this weekend before a warming trend early next week, the National Weather Service said Friday.
Forecasters reported highs in the mid-60s through Sunday, followed by a climb to 70 degrees Monday and into the lower 70s Tuesday and Wednesday. The shift marks the first above-normal temperatures of the season.
Friday’s forecast called for sunshine and a high near 66, with light southwest winds around 5 mph. Clouds will increase overnight, with lows near 48.
Saturday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 64. Clouds and patchy fog will return overnight, with lows around 43. Sunday will bring morning fog and mostly cloudy skies, but highs will rise to 67.
Winds will remain light across Pasadena, shifting between southwest and northeast at 5 mph. Canyon gusts may reach 15 to 25 mph Tuesday, but no significant wind events are expected.
The weekend outlook calls for partly cloudy skies and cool mornings, with temperatures in the low 40s. Forecasters advised drivers to use caution during foggy periods, especially along foothill routes.
Looking ahead, highs will remain in the upper 60s to lower 70s through next week, with overnight lows in the mid-40s. Morning fog may persist, but skies will trend sunnier by midweek.
