
Tetra Tech Inc., the Pasadena-based consulting and engineering firm, announced that Rijkswaterstaat, the Netherlands’ executive agency of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, has selected the company to provide engineering and technical services for the modernization of the country’s water infrastructure networks. The announcement was made in a company press release.
Tetra Tech’s engineers will design solutions to renew and extend the life of water systems and surrounding infrastructure, including flood defense structures, locks, and bridges. The firm also plans to use advanced data analytics and laboratory expertise to conduct soil and sediment surveys, supporting evidence-based decision-making for upgrades and new projects. The work is intended to strengthen infrastructure resilience and ensure long-term water security across the Netherlands.
