Virtualitics, a Pasadena-based artificial intelligence firm founded on Caltech research, has renewed and expanded its contract with the U.S. Air Force Global Strike Command to scale its Automated Master Storage Planning (A-MSP) system, the company announced Oct. 29. The renewal positions A-MSP as a core readiness capability for managing and mobilizing munitions assets across the command.

The announcement was made via company press release. Virtualitics stated that the expanded contract will enhance A-MSP’s role in automating one of the Air Force’s most time-consuming sustainment tasks, with new capabilities that include configurable AI modeling, 3D visualization, volumetric key performance indicators, and real-time enterprise-wide optimization.

A-MSP is part of Virtualitics’ Integrated Readiness Optimization (IRO) suite, which supports decision-making across maintenance, logistics, personnel, and cyber domains. The company said the system has already saved more than 50,000 man-hours, reduced human error, and accelerated planning timelines. In one test, A-MSP cleared 3,000 square feet of storage space while managing receipt of more than 50 munitions assets.

“The impact we delivered in Phase One is accelerating this renewal,” said Michael Amori, CEO and co-founder of Virtualitics. “By combining AI-optimized workflows with deep operational context, A-MSP is evolving from a planning tool into a strategic readiness capability.”

The system has been beta-tested and validated across multiple Air Force commands, including AFGSC, AFSOC, AMC, USAFE, PACAF, and ACC. Brig. Gen. Miller, AFGSC A4 Director, endorsed the system’s rapid deployment, stating, “I wish I had this when I was a MUNS Commander — we need to get it into the hands of end-users as quickly as possible.”

Virtualitics said A-MSP is rapidly becoming a foundational element of AFGSC’s sustainment strategy and helps close critical capability gaps in materiel movement and logistics support. The renewal signals growing trust in AI adoption within defense operations and supports the field’s need for scalable, mission-ready solutions.

Founded in Pasadena and built on a decade of Caltech research in partnership with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Virtualitics develops AI applications for national security and critical infrastructure. Its Integrated Readiness Optimization suite uses predictive models and explainable AI to help mission-driven organizations turn complex data into real-time insights.
