Richard L. Chinen, President of the Tournament of Roses Association, announced that Amy Wainscott, a Tournament member since 1992, was elected to the Executive Committee and will serve as President of the Tournament in 2022.  Wainscott will provide leadership for the 133rd Rose Parade® and the 108th Rose Bowl Game® on January 1, 2022.
Wainscott moved to California at 18 years of age and studied Administration of Justice at Pasadena City College. Â She received her degree in construction management at Cal Poly Pomona. Â “Amy Wainscott is a shinning example of the quality of students that have began their studies here at PCC, and gone on to great accomplishments. Â We are proud of Amy and congratulate her on this wonderful achievement,” said Dr. Mark Rocha, President/Superintendent of PCC.
Wainscott is the 2nd elected Tournament President who is affliated with PCC. In 2021, Robert Miller, Assistant Superintendent/Senior Vice President of Business and College Services for the Pasadena Area Community College District, will serve as the President for the 132nd Rose Parade® and the 107th Rose Bowl Bowl® Game on January 1, 2021. “I have served with Amy as a Tournament volunteer and she has rendered outstanding service through the years. We look forward to her continued invaluable contibutions as a member of the Tournament Executive Committee,” said Robert Miller.
Wainscott is professionally involved in the real estate investment and property management industry. Â She resides locally with her husband Tim and six children, Peter, John, Amanda, Olivia, Hannah and Kirsten.
