PCC Alum Amy Wainscott Elected As 2022 President of the Tournament of Roses

Richard L. Chinen, President of the Tournament of Roses Association, announced that Amy Wainscott, a Tournament member since 1992, was elected to the Executive Committee and will serve as President of the Tournament in 2022.  Wainscott will provide leadership for the 133rd Rose Parade® and the 108th Rose Bowl Game® on January 1, 2022.

Wainscott moved to California at 18 years of age and studied Administration of Justice at Pasadena City College.  She received her degree in construction management at Cal Poly Pomona.  “Amy Wainscott is a shinning example of the quality of students that have began their studies here at PCC, and gone on to great accomplishments.  We are proud of Amy and congratulate her on this wonderful achievement,” said Dr. Mark Rocha, President/Superintendent of PCC.

Wainscott is the 2nd elected Tournament President who is affliated with PCC. In 2021, Robert Miller, Assistant Superintendent/Senior Vice President of Business and College Services for the Pasadena Area Community College District, will serve as the President for the 132nd Rose Parade® and the 107th Rose Bowl Bowl® Game on January 1, 2021. “I have served with Amy as a Tournament volunteer and she has rendered outstanding service through the years. We look forward to her continued invaluable contibutions as a member of the Tournament Executive Committee,” said Robert Miller.

Wainscott is professionally involved in the real estate investment and property management industry.  She resides locally with her husband Tim and six children, Peter, John, Amanda, Olivia, Hannah and Kirsten.
