Pasadena City College is pleased to announce its production of “Museum,†a play by Tina Howard. This witty and engaging play begins its run Friday, July 19 at 8 p.m. in the Little Theater in C-106.
Directed by PCC instructors Whitney Rydbeck and Sandi Massie, Museum has a cast of 40 of the usual suspects at an art exhibit: guards, art lovers, foreigners, students, fellow artists, skeptics and of course the occasional lost soul. The play explores the effect of art on the viewer, as well as how our reactions to art speak about us as people.
“Tina Howe’s popular play is a perfect fit for our talented assortment of student actors,†Rydbeck said. “It’s very funny, and it’s a very good play.â€
Additional performances will be on Saturday, July 20 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.; July 25 and 26 at 8 p.m.; and on July 27 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
General admission to the play is $10, and $5 for students, staff and seniors. Tickets will be sold at the door.
