Pasadena police announced today that detectives have arrested a second murder suspect in the May 29 killing of David Crosby. Jr., inside the Atlantis Restaurant in Pasadena.
Charles Wetstone, 19, a Pasadena resident, was arrested without incident at an apartment complex in Glendale, Calif., on Tuesday evening, authorities said. This follows the arrest of Dwayne Rice, who was apprehended June 11 in San Bernardino.
Police said murder charges with gang affiliations have been filed with the Office of the District Attorney against both suspects.
Both are being held without bail, police said.
“The fact that we have these two hardened criminals behind bars so quickly after their brazen act of violence will send the message that we will look for, find and arrest these violent felons,” Chief Melekian is reported to have commented about the second arrest.
