A power outage affected about 1,000 customers in District 2 on Thursday, according to an email from Councilmember Rick Cole.
According to Cole, crews were actively working to restore service to the affected areas, and power has already been restored to some residents.
The City is currently being slammed by the biggest storm of the season.
Rain totals are expected to be from 1.5-3.0 in., and 3.0-6.0in. in the mountains, according to the National Weather Service.
Peak rates are expected on Thursday.
The burn scar area from the Eaton Fire is more susceptible to debris flows, flooding, and erosion, preparedness and safety are critical to protecting lives and property. Residents in and around the burn area should take immediate action to mitigate potential impacts.
Free pre-filled sandbags and self-serve sand and sandbags are available at the following locations for Pasadena residents while supplies last. Ten sandbags per resident with proof of residency. No contractors permitted.
• Robinson Park (south parking lot), 1081 N. Fair Oaks, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.,
• Victory Park (parking lot along Altadena Dr.), 2575 Paloma St, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
The following fire stations will have self-serve sand and sandbags ONLY.
• Fire Station 37, 3430 E. Foothill Blvd., 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Fire Station 38, 1150 Linda Vista Ave., 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
