Pasadena will see sunny skies and warming temperatures later this week as moderate Santa Ana winds develop, forecasters said.
The National Weather Service Los Angeles/Oxnard office reported partly to mostly cloudy conditions Tuesday with highs near 63 degrees. Skies will clear Wednesday, bringing mostly sunny weather and similar temperatures.
Forecasters said stronger offshore winds will arrive Wednesday night, with advisory-level gusts likely in mountain passes and canyons through the weekend. The winds may increase the risk of falling trees due to recent rains.
Temperatures will remain in the lower 60s through Thursday before rising. Highs are expected to reach 63 Friday, 67 Saturday and near 70 Sunday and Monday.
No significant rainfall is forecast for Pasadena this week. A stray shower may brush southern Los Angeles County Tuesday night, but the city is expected to stay dry.
The weekend outlook calls for sunny skies and warmer conditions. Saturday’s high will reach 67, followed by 70 Sunday. Overnight lows will remain in the mid-40s.
Forecasters said dry weather will continue into next week.
