Resident Makes Sad Discovery in Road Beneath Colorado Street Bridge Friday Night

A Pasadena resident discovered a body lying in the middle of Arroyo Boulevard beneath the Colorado Street Bridge about 10:30 p.m. Friday and called authorities.

Both Pasadena Fire Department and Police units arrived to find a deceased young woman in her 20’s, Pasadena Police Lt. John Mercado said.

No identification of the woman has yet been released.

Mercado said the initial investigation revealed that the victim committed suicide by jumping from the bridge above.
