The Historic Preservation Commission of Pasadena will conduct a special site visit to Roosevelt School at 315 N. Pasadena Avenue on Thursday, April 10, to evaluate the property for possible landmark designation.
This visit represents a key step in the landmark application process for the historic school building located in Council District 1.
Commissioners will meet at 4:30 p.m. in front of the building to conduct an on-site assessment of the property’s historical and architectural significance.
The tour will help commissioners gather first-hand observations of the structure’s condition, distinctive features, and historic character before making a formal recommendation on its landmark status.
The nine-member commission, chaired by Tina Miller, includes representatives from each of Pasadena’s seven districts.
While this special meeting focuses solely on the site visit, the Historic Preservation Commission normally meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month to conduct regular business related to historic properties within the city.
Members of the public interested in the landmark designation process can submit comments to commentsHPC@cityofpasadena.net
