Rose Bowl Aquatics Water Polo Athletes Announce College Acceptances

The Rose Bowl Aquatics Water Polo Club program announced the college acceptances of several exceptional local student-athletes who have committed to pursuing their academic and athletic careers at colleges and universities locally and nationwide. 

These talented individuals have showcased their dedication, skill, and leadership both in the pool and in the classroom, and their achievements are a testament to their hard work and commitment,said Mike Gonzales, Head Coach Rose Bowl Water Polo Club. 

The following student-athletes from Rose Bowl Aquatics Water Polo have been accepted to

  • Grace Markus, South Pasadena HS – Marist College 
  • Lillie Vehling, Notre Dame HS, Sherman Oaks – UC Davis 
  • Nancy Baylor, Burroughs HS – Indiana University 
  • Alison Kokorowski, Mira Costa HS – Arizona State University 
  •  Thea Pine, Harvard Westlake – Pomona Pitzer College 
  • Tonanxochitl Ortega, Pasadena Poly- Claremont McKenna College 
  • Liv Hernandez, Arcadia HS- Azusa Pacific University 
  • Jason Alietti, St. Francis – Santa Clara University 
  • Miles Chiang, Temple City HS – Pomona Pitzer College 
  • Noah Corral, Flintridge Prep- Cal Poly San Luis Obispo 
  • Jozef Gutiérrez, St. Francis -Los Angeles Valley College 
  • Brian Sanchez, Muir HS- Los Angeles Valley College

The RBWPC said it extended its “warmest congratulations to these exceptional student-athletes and their families for their accomplishments” and takes great pride in its commitment to fostering the holistic development of its athletes. 

The Rose Bowl Aquatics Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to helping all members of our diverse communities invest in their health and wellness by providing exemplary aquatic educational, competitive, therapeutic, and recreational programs. It is home to the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center Water Safety Program that provides EVERY 3rd-grade student in Pasadena Unified School District, including students with special needs, with access to water safety instruction.
