Tens of thousands of fans will descend on Pasadena’s Rose Bowl tonight as the Mexican Men’s National Team plays Australia at 7:00 p.m. in its last match on U.S. soil before the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The match is the centerpiece of the 2026 MexTour Sendoff, a multi-day soccer celebration at the 89,702-seat National Historic Landmark stadium in the Arroyo Seco, and Mexico’s final tune-up in the United States before the tournament opens on June 11.

MexTour organizers said in a May 23 press release that “more than 60,000 tickets have already been sold for the highly anticipated MexTour Sendoff match on Saturday, May 30 (7:00 p.m.), at Pasadena’s iconic Rose Bowl Stadium, where the Mexican Men’s National Team will face Australia in a clash of two FIFA World Cup-bound sides.”

Parking lots at the stadium, located at 1001 Rose Bowl Drive, open at 1:30 p.m. The AT&T Futbol Fiesta fan zone runs from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., with gates opening at 5:00 p.m. ahead of the 7:00 p.m. kickoff.

The City of Pasadena issued a traffic advisory cautioning that traffic will be impacted around Rose Bowl Stadium and urging attendees to arrive early, obey all traffic configurations, and follow parking regulations.

At halftime, Mexican-American DJ and record producer Deorro — born Erick Orrosquieta in 1991 — will perform the official 2026 MexTour anthem, “La Bandera (Remix)” featuring Santa Fe Klan, according to the MexTour release. Deorro received his first Latin Grammy nomination in 2024, for Best Latin Electronic Music Performance, for his collaboration “BAMBOLE” with Vikina.

Mexico arrives at the Rose Bowl off a 2–0 win over Ghana in Puebla on May 22, the first of three pre-World Cup friendlies under head coach Javier Aguirre, who is in his third stint leading the national team. After Saturday, Mexico’s final pre-tournament match is against Serbia on June 4. Mexico will then open the World Cup in Group A against South Africa, South Korea, and Czechia. Australia, ranked 27th by FIFA at the time of the MexTour announcement, has been drawn into Group D alongside the United States, Paraguay, and Turkey.

The Rose Bowl has staged international soccer’s biggest moments before, hosting both the 1994 Men’s World Cup Final, won by Brazil, and the 1999 Women’s World Cup Final, won by the United States. The MexTour’s all-time attendance record of 90,526 was set there in 2010.

The match will be broadcast in Spanish on Univision and TUDN, in English on FOX Deportes, and streamed on ViX.
