Rose Bowl Tops List of Must-Watch College Football Games for 2024 Season

The Rose Bowl Game in Pasadena has been named the top must-watch bowl game for the 2024 college football season by Sports Media Inc. 

The media organization released its list of the top ten bowl games, highlighting marquee matchups and iconic venues across the country.

Known as “The Granddaddy of Them All,” the Rose Bowl is scheduled for Jan. 1, 2025. It will feature top teams from the Pac-12 and Big Ten conferences, set against the backdrop of the San Gabriel Mountains.

The Sugar Bowl in New Orleans and the Orange Bowl in Miami Gardens secured the second and third spots on the list.

These games, both set for Jan. 1, 2025, will showcase teams from the SEC, Big 12, and ACC conferences.

The Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona, and the Cotton Bowl Classic in Arlington, Texas, rounded out the top five.

The Cotton Bowl Classic, scheduled for Dec. 30, 2024, often plays a crucial role in determining College Football Playoff standings.

Other notable inclusions were the Peach Bowl in Atlanta on Dec. 29, the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, and the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio.

The Citrus Bowl, set in the vacation capital of the world, attracts fans to both the game and local attractions.

The Alamo Bowl, known for high-scoring offenses, and the Outback Bowl in Tampa completed the list.

The Holiday Bowl in San Diego, featuring Pac-12 and Big Ten teams, is celebrated for its coastal setting and exciting gameplay.
