Rough Weather for Last Minute Shoppers Should Lead into Sunny Christmas Day

Pasadena residents could experience some rough weather Friday as a series of storm systems approach from the northwest and are expected to bring a significant chance of rain after 11 a.m.

Friday will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 62. A southeast wind at five to 10 miles per hour will prevail throughout the day.

Friday night is expected to bring more rain, with the National Weather Service predicting a 100 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms possible after 11 p.m. Winds will be from the southwest at around 10 mph but could gust as high as 15 mph.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be near 55 and the wind will be northwest wind at five to 10 mph.

Saturday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 42.

Christmas Day, Sunday, promises to be mostly sunny, with a high near 58.

Sunday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 44.
