San Gabriel Valley Elected Officials and Business Leaders to Converge at Pasadena Networking Event

Southern California Edison is scheduled to present the San Gabriel Valley Legislative Networking Reception on Friday, June 28, at the Tournament House in Pasadena. The event, which will run from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., will connect local elected officials with business leaders and community members.

The San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership is organizing the reception, which it describes as “an excellent opportunity to meet and network with our local elected officials.” 

This long-running series will take place at 391 S. Orange Grove Blvd. in West Pasadena.

Numerous prominent politicians are confirmed to attend, the Partnership reported, including Senators Maria Elena Durazo, Anthony Portantino, and Susan Rubio, and Assemblymembers Lisa Calderon, Mike Fong, and Chris Holden. Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger is also expected to participate, and more speakers will be announced.

Tickets are priced at $75 for San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership members and $85 for non-members. 

The event has garnered support from various sectors, with Southern California Edison serving as the presenting sponsor. Leadership sponsors include the City of Industry, San Gabriel Basin Water Quality Authority, Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts, and Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District.

Program sponsors represent a diverse range of industries, including waste management, healthcare, telecommunications, and utilities. Among them are Athens Services, Kaiser Permanente, Spectrum, SoCalGas, Foothill Transit, AT&T, Cal Poly Pomona, Citrus Valley Association of Realtors, and Transtech Engineers, Inc., reflecting the broad economic interests of the region.

The reception offers different sponsorship tiers, with the top-level presenting sponsorship priced at $7,500. This package includes the option to serve as MC for the program portion, conduct a Q&A with elected officials, and have a video of the organization shown at the start of the program.

Program sponsors, contributing $3,000, receive benefits such as logo placement in event communications and advertisements in local newspapers. These sponsors also get verbal recognition during the program and ten event registrations.

As the region prepares for this significant gathering, the reception is poised to foster dialogue on local economic issues and strengthen connections between elected officials and the business community. The event’s structure and sponsorship opportunities reflect its importance in the local political and economic landscape.
