PUSD School Board candidate Scott Harden has announced the endorsement of Teamsters Local 911.

The unions represent the Pasadena Unified School District’s classified employees, including workers in maintenance and operations, food services, warehouse, and information technology services.

“They ensure that PUSD is a secure and productive environment for both students and teachers,” according to a statement released by Harden’s campaign.

Harden is running for the District 4 seat being vacated by Patrick Cahalan.

Cahalan defeated Harden in the 2020 race. He has endorsed Harden in the upcoming election.

Councilmember-elect Rick Cole has also endorsed Harden.

Harden has served as Executive Board President, Treasurer, Secretary, Leadership Vice President and Communications Director of Parent and Teacher Organizations (PTAs) across the District, including the PTA Council of PUSD which is responsible for oversight of all 21 PTAs in PUSD. He is currently serving as Vice President of Leadership and Family Engagement of First District PTA, overseeing programs and policies for over 250 PTAs from Burbank to Pomona.
