Haley Pullos, a 25-year-old actress known for her role on the soap opera General Hospital, was sentenced to 90 days in jail for a DUI crash that occurred in Pasadena on April 29, 2023.
Pullos pleaded no contest to charges related to the incident, which involved her driving on the wrong side of the 134 Freeway while under the influence of alcohol and marijuana, resulting in a head-on collision with another vehicle.
The crash reportedly caused injuries to both Pullos and the other driver, Courteney Wilder, as well as property damage.
The Pasadena Fire Department had to use hydraulic rescue tools to extract Pullos, who was trapped in her vehicle, where police later allegedly discovered edibles and tequila.
Both drivers were transported to the hospital following the incident.
In addition to the jail sentence, Pullos was ordered to serve five years of probation, complete 200 hours of community service, and had her driver’s license suspended. The actress faced charges including felony DUI causing injury, and the incident has sparked discussions about the dangers of impaired driving and the responsibilities of public figures.
Wilder filed a lawsuit against Pullos in June 2023, seeking compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering. On Sept. 21, 2023, Pullos appeared in court, and on March 8, 2024, she sought dismissal of the civil lawsuit.
