The popular and energetic Southern University “Human Jukebox” Marching Band will be part of the star-studded lineup featured in The Rose Parade’s New Year Celebration Presented by Honda” TV special, which will take the place of the Rose Parade on New Year’s Day.

Southern University on Sunday released a short video clip of the Baton Rouge-based band via social media in anticipation of the big day.

Southern University’s “Human Jukebox” Marching Band performed at last year’s Rose Parade, when it was in-person.

This year’s Rose Parade will look a little different with the TV special taking its place due the ongoing pandemic.

The special, which will benefit Feeding America, will air at 8 a.m. on ABC, KTLA, NBC, The Hallmark Channel and RFD-TV, and at 7 a.m. on Univision.
