Forecasters predict that rainy days are a thing of the past — for this weekend, at least, when sunny days are expected to prevail. Temperatures will range from the 50s to the mid-60s.
This weather pattern, featuring dry conditions and cooler-than-normal temperatures, is expected to persist at least until the middle of next week. However, there is a forecast of increasing cloudiness and a higher probability of rain by next weekend.
Temperatures are set to rise a few degrees each day, but with highs today only forecasted to reach the upper 50s to lower 60s, they will remain below normal throughout the weekend. Temperatures are anticipated to gradually increase each day across most of the region, and by Wednesday or Thursday, afternoon highs are expected to be slightly above normal.
Looking further ahead, most ensemble forecasts suggest a return to wetter conditions by next weekend or early the following week.
