Pasadena will see sunny skies and a gradual cooling trend this weekend, according to National Weather Service forecasters. Highs will ease from near 88 degrees Friday and Saturday to 84 degrees Sunday, with overnight lows in the low 60s.
Forecasters said the cooling is driven by stronger onshore flow and an expanding marine layer, typical for June in Southern California.
Friday’s conditions include clear skies and a high near 88 degrees, with calm winds shifting south-southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Saturday will remain sunny with highs near 88 degrees. Winds will stay light, generally from the southwest. Sunday will cool slightly, with highs near 84 degrees and lows around 61 degrees.
Temperatures early next week will rebound to the mid-80s before easing again by Thursday, when highs are expected near 80 degrees. Nights will gradually cool into the upper 50s.
No rain is forecast, though forecasters noted morning and evening low clouds will continue along the coast and valleys. Pasadena is expected to see mostly sunny afternoons.
Residents can expect a stretch of dry, stable weather with only minor day-to-day changes, forecasters said.
