
The theme is in line with the continued efforts to rebound after the devastating Eaton Fire impacted Pasadena and devastated Altadena.
Gordo will deliver the State of the City address at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at Robinson Park Recreation Center, 1081 N. Fair Oaks Ave.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and Mayor Gordo will be introduced by Vice Mayor Jess Rivas.
The State of the City speech formally marks the start of Pasadena’s annual budget process and begins the run-up to the City Council’s submission of a proposed budget in May.
The City Council has already held a budget workshop, and the mayor has convened an advisory group.
Free on-site parking will be available, and the address will also be live-streamed at PasadenaMedia.org/Kpas.
Under the City Charter, the mayor is required to present a thematic budget message for the upcoming fiscal year no later than February.
