TLC’s Hit TV show ‘Trading Spaces’ Looking for Neighbors to Cast in Pasadena

[Updated]   “Trading Spaces,” TLC’s hit TV show where sets of neighbors redecorate a room in each other’s houses, is now casting in Pasadena.

The show is searching for sets of homeowners around the Los Angeles area who would like to redesign and decorate rooms through the show. With the help of a designer and carpenter, neighbors swap houses and transform one room within 48 hours and a $2,000 budget.

If you’re a homeowner who’d like to let go of the reigns and let your neighbor make the design decisions (under the guidance of an equally opinionated designer), this is for you.

Relatives, best friends, coworkers, and all kinds of pairs are encouraged to apply if you live on the same block or street.

For this casting, TLC is encouraging homeowners in the following cities to apply:

• Pasadena, Burbank and Glendale
• San Fernando Valley
• Los Angeles
• Long Beach, Torrance, Santa Monica, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Manhattan Beach
• Santa Clarita
• Valencia, Stevenson Ranch, and Saugus
• Ventura
• Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Camarillo, and Oxnard

Interested parties can apply by filling up and submitting a form online through www.TradingSpacesCasting.com , which also contains details of the casting requirements.

They will also need to include photos of themselves and their partners, a few exterior photos of the house, and photos of the room that will be made over. Applicants are also encouraged, but not required, to upload a video.
