The criminal complaint includes allegations that Santiago personally used a knife and inflicted great bodily injury. The hearing is scheduled for Dept. B in the Pasadena Courthouse, 300 E. Walnut St.
Also at 8:30 a.m. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for Telly R. Johnson, who is charged with the March 1, 2019, stabbing death of 52-year-old Byron Nettles of Pasadena, according to Pasadena police officials and Los Angeles County coroner’s records. The deadly stabbing took place in the 100 block of South Euclid Avenue, where Nettles lived, Pasadena police said in a written statement after Johnson’s arrest. It set off an hours-long search by police which shut down a large swath of downtown Pasadena as officers went block-by-block searching for Johnson. The hearing is scheduled for Dept.
