Pasadena will experience warm, sunny weather through the weekend before cooler temperatures and patchy fog arrive Sunday night, according to the National Weather Service.
Highs will reach 83 degrees Saturday, with temperatures gradually falling to the low 70s by midweek. Forecasters expect low clouds and fog to return late Sunday, potentially affecting visibility during early morning hours.
Today’s forecast calls for clear skies and a high near 81. Winds will shift from northeast to southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Tonight’s low will be around 55 under calm conditions.
Saturday will bring continued sunshine and a high near 83, with light northeast winds turning southwest in the afternoon. Sunday will be similar, with a high near 81, but the offshore flow will weaken, allowing cooler air and cloud cover to move in.
Temperatures will decline through the week. Monday’s high will be near 80, followed by 77 on Tuesday and 72 on Wednesday. Thursday will see a slight rebound to 75. Overnight lows will remain in the mid-50s.
The forecast remains mostly dry, though forecasters note a slight chance of light rain between Tuesday and Wednesday due to a weak upper-level trough approaching from the southwest. No measurable rainfall is currently expected.
Winds will stay light and variable across Pasadena. Offshore gusts below advisory levels may reach up to 45 mph in higher terrain early Friday, but calm conditions are expected through the weekend and into next week.
The warm weekend weather is expected to draw residents outdoors to parks, trails and civic events. However, dense fog late Sunday into Monday could reduce visibility for early commuters, especially near the Arroyo Seco and foothill areas.
Looking ahead, mild conditions are expected to continue into the following week, with highs in the mid-70s and patchy morning fog persisting.
