Weekday Weather: Clear and C-C-C-Cold

Monday will be a bit warmer than Christmas Day, mostly sunny with highs approaching 61 and a northeast wind of around five miles per hour.

Monday night will be mostly clear with a low around 38. Winds will be north and northeast at five mph.

Tuesday will see a very nice jump in maximum temperatures, says the National Weather Service, as the offshore flow develops and a cold dome of high pressure moves into the Great Basin. Highs will be near 66, with a north northeast wind around five mph.

Tuesday night be mostly clear, with a low around 44.

Wednesday will be the warmest day of the next seven as the offshore flow continues and weak ridging sets up over the area, the NWS said in a Forecast Discussion. Wednesday will be sunny, with highs near 70.

Wednesday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 46.

Thursday will show a slight chance of showers but will be mostly sunny, with a high near 71.

Thursday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 49.
