The Woman’s Club of South Pasadena is busy planning this year’s “Operation Cookie” for hospitalized, homeless and special needs veterans to be held May 25th at the Clubhouse.

Club members and community volunteers recently gathered at the Clubhouse and decorated almost 1,000 cookie containers.

The boxes are decorated with a special thank you label to veterans for their military service and a variety of colorful stickers. They will be filled with cookies for distribution to local Veteran’s Hospitals, to special needs veterans, and to homeless veterans served by the VA.

More boxes will be decorated in early May.

For information on how you can support Operation Cookie as a cookie donor or volunteer, please call 213-300-9305 or email: spwc1899@aol.com.
