Young Democrats to Host Inaugural Mixer

The Pasadena Young Democrats will hold its inaugural mixer to introduce their executive board and their plans promote community engagement from 6 to 9 p.m. on April 29 at Der Wolf restaurant in Old Pasadena, at 72 North Fair Oaks Ave.

The Pasadena Young Democrats were established in 2023 to create, educate and empower the next generation of Pasadena leaders to engage civically and politically.

“There isn’t better time to get young leaders involved than now. From voting President Barack Obama into office, organizing communities after the murder of George Floyd, to the recent passing of Pasadena’s Measure H, young people have been at the forefront of so many movements of change. It is our hope to create opportunities so that this generation’s leader could be motivated to organize, mobilize, and even run for office one day” said Brandon Lamar, President of Pasadena Young Democrats “ I hope to see you at our first mixer.”
