2023 National Merit Scholarship Program

Maranatha High School is proud to recognize six students who were named Commended Students as part of the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Each year, between 1.5 and 2 million high school juniors take the PSAT/MSQT, and Commended Students finish in the top 50,000 of all test takers. To finish in this category requires a great deal of effort and success both in the classroom and on the PSAT itself.

Maranatha is proud of the hard work and determination of the following Maranatha seniors: Ephraim Choi, Derek Jones, Isaac Oh, Jasmine Purnomo, Qianhui (Amy) Wei, and Yi (Elvin) Yao.
