5th Graders Shine in All Saints Day Mass and Saints Wax Museum at Holy Family School

The Spirituality Program at Holy Family School enriches students of all grade levels with opportunities to deepen their Catholic faith and put that faith into practice. Beyond religion classes, students participate in school-wide Mass, contributing as lectors, greeters, and altar servers.

A special commendation goes to the 5th-grade class for leading this month’s All-School Mass on All Saints Day, Friday, November 1, 2024. The class also presented a captivating Saints Wax Museum, allowing students to embody their chosen saint through research, a written report, and a live presentation in costume. Heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Cifuentes, the 5th-grade teacher, for orchestrating this inspiring project.

The saints represented in the 5th-grade project included: St. John Bosco, St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Andrew Kim Taegon, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Ignatius of Loyola, St. Peter, St. Patrick, St. Joseph, St. Louis IX, St. Benedict, St. Paul, St. Augustine of Hippo, St. Charles Borromeo, St. Jerome, St. Vincent de Paul, St. Louise de Marillac, St. Thérèse of Lisieux, St. Catherine of Siena, St. Madeleine Sophie Barat, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, St. Joan of Arc, St. Bernadette Soubirous, St. Rose of Lima, St. Jane Frances de Chantal, St. Gianna Beretta Molla, St. Felicity, St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, St. Teresa of Ávila, St. Perpetua, St. Angela Merici, St. Mother Teresa, St. Edith Stein (Teresa Benedicta of the Cross), and St. Clare of Assisi.

“At Holy Family Catholic School, we passionately instill Christian values and Catholic principles in our students, guiding them through the Gospel message of Jesus Christ: Faith, Community, Service, and Excellence.
