A High Point Eagle Soars Through Carnegie Hall

Last weekend, High Point Academy 8th grader Maxwell Li had the incredible honor of performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City as part of the Elite International Music Competition award ceremony. This marks Maxwell’s fifth consecutive year winning first place, earning him the opportunity to perform on this prestigious stage.

Despite the demands of his busy school and extracurricular life—juggling daily schoolwork, high school applications, History Day preparation, various sports competitions, and other commitments—AND after falling ill a few days before the event, Maxwell persevered and delivered a beautiful performance, making this achievement even more meaningful.
