Alverno Heights Academy Students’ Amazing San Diego College Trip in Pictures
Alverno Heights Academy (AHA) students are back from an amazing San Diego College trip. Juniors & seniors have spent the last couple days exploring some of San Diego’s best universities. First stop was Cal State San Marcos where students were given a tour & met up with class of 2022 alum, Maddie. Then off to University of California, San Diego to explore a this great UC school.
They then spent the night exploring downtown San Diego, enjoying dinner and venturing off to a nighttime tour of The Whaley house. On Day 2 they visited University of San Diego and participated in some fun activities and visited with 2019 alum Precious Perlas. Lastly they visited San Diego state university where students explored the vast campus and met another alum Maddy ‘22, Nikki ‘21 & our Alverno friend Sam Solano!
After all the tours and visits, these AHA students are looking forward to exploring and applying to these schools! A huge shout out to AHA’s phenomenal college counselor Mrs. Melissa Royal for setting up a great trip and dedicating herself to the students.
