Carver Elementary School’s Golden Shoe Winner

The Golden Shoe for Friday, March 18 goes to the youngest of the young! Carver Elementary School congratulates Ms. Mendoza’s TK class for having the most walkers participate in this morning’s Walking School Bus! This is the first time that the class has won the Golden Shoe!

The Carver Walking Club continues to grow. It is now reporting a weekly walking membership of well over 370 students. Add to this number the many parents and friends who come along to join the fun and there’s an impressive, parade-like groups every Friday! “Many thanks to our police officers who meet us every week and continue to provide us safe crossing at key intersections.”
