Crestview Debaters Gear Up for Another Winning Season

Every Monday after school, the Crestview Preparatory School debate team dives into action—and they wouldn’t have it any other way! These passionate debaters are busy researching current hot-button issues, honing their persuasive arguments, and sharpening their rebuttal skills during lively scrimmages. The room is filled with energy, excitement, and the signature knuckle-rap applause that fuels their camaraderie.

Last year, the team earned a stellar first-place finish at the Goldenwest Debate League Championship Tournament, and now they’re eagerly preparing to build on that success. Their season kicks off on December 7 at the first tournament of the year, hosted by Wise School.

But at Crestview, debate is about more than just winning. It’s a chance for students to strengthen their critical thinking, embrace teamwork, and have a blast while mastering the art of persuasion. With enthusiasm and determination, the Crestview debaters are ready to make their voices heard!
