Crestview Students Honor Trailblazing Women

At Crestview Preparatory School in La Cañada, California, students have been engaging in a thoughtful and inspiring project centered around famous women in history. As part of their reading and writing curriculum, the students have been learning about influential women who have made significant contributions across various fields such as science, politics, the arts, and social justice. Through research, discussions, and writing assignments, they’ve been exploring the achievements and legacies of these trailblazing figures. To commemorate their learning, students are also creating a colorful banner to honor the women they’ve studied. This meaningful activity not only reinforces literacy skills but also encourages students to appreciate the impact of women throughout history and to recognize the importance of representation and empowerment.
