Flintridge Prep Celebrates Class of 2028’s Promising Future

Congratulations to Flintridge Preparatory School’s Class of 2028! At its recent 8th Grade Promotion, the school celebrated the incredible growth of its students and began to imagine the exciting adventure that lies ahead in high school. “This eighth-grade class radiates enthusiasm, generosity, ambition, and, perhaps most of all, indefatigable energy,” said Head of School Ms. Walker-Oakes as she opened the ceremony.

Class speaker Jackie Zhao ’28, perfectly captured the spirit of the students: “Personally, I’m a little nervous for high school, but I know that based on both our 7th grade and 8th grade year, no matter what is thrown at us, we’ll be fine, as we have each other.”
Our speaker and Board of Trustee, Katherine Thompson ’05 reminded us all of the significance of this moment: “Remember what you’ve accomplished—and the challenges you’ve overcome—in the last two years. Celebrate this wonderful time in your life, no mere blip on the radar but rather an important chapter essential in making you you.”

“We are so proud of our students and can’t wait to see what they do next!”
