Flintridge Prep’s Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta

Flintridge Preparatory School (FPS) seniors marked the end of classes with the annual Cardboard Boat Regatta. Accompanied by the lively commentary of Dr. Frewen, Prep students paddled their way across the pool in boats they built in its makerspace from only cardboard and duct tape. The fact that many were able to cross the pool intact without taking on too much water is a testament to the ingenuity and creativity of these students. Prizes were awarded to the winner of the race and for accomplishments in design.
