Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy Black Student Union Celebrates Conclusion of Black History Month

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy (FSHA) closed out Black History Month with a celebration hosted by the Black Student Union (BSU) complete with desserts from 27th Street Bakery and delicious sweet potato tarts homemade by Dr. Oliver! FSHA BSU President, Jaz, led students in a rousing game of Black History Trivia. On Saturday, Ms. Gonzales, Dr. Oliver and BSU members attended the Black Excellence Expo. hosted by the BSU at Notre Dame High School, where they got to hear from Black entrepreneurs and entertainers in panel discussions. It was inspiring to meet members of other high school BSU’s. FSHA look forward to continuing to celebrate Black history everyday.
